Did Saturday brunch with friends. Sat in Central Park room which has a lovely glass atrium looking into the park. The buildings were original to sheep farm. This room was very noisy making it difficult to hear. Only other open dining rooms not used for private parties now are green room and bar. Bar is first come first serve. Green room charming and allot quieter. Food was good but not amazing given prices. Totally skip the potato pancake app - 4 small deep fried to a crisp. Not at all tasty. The eggs Benedict with creamed spinach very good. Steak and eggs also very good - steak properly cooked and poached eggs on all done to jammy center. All in all a pleasant visit. Service very good.

The Tavern on the Green was fabulous. What yo be treated like royalty? Like you are the only customer in the room, Tavern on the Green is the place to go. Excellent food choices, all top quality. The staff? Absolutely non better. Friendly, helpful , always making sure we had what we needed without being intrusive. A beautifully decorated, styled atmosphere! Highly recommend!!!

Visited Tavern on the Green for an anniversary dinner. The service was great. All the waiters and hosts were so friendly and would check to make sure everything was going well. We wanted to move inside after initially sitting outside since it was getting a bit chilly. They were able to seat us inside no problem. The food here is alright, not amazing, definitely not for the price point. But the food isn't awful, still enjoyable. The lemon chicken was pretty good! The short ribs were fine. The black truffle mac and cheese tasted like normal mac and cheese. Broccoli rabe was decent. The strawberry shortcake was very good! I am not a huge lemon on my shortcake person, but it was still yummy. Especially with the ice cream and the strawberry sauce. The cheesecake was fine, the graham crust was nicely spiced. For our anniversary, they gave us each a Prosecco on house as well as a little box of chocolates. Which was a nice surprise. Would say if you are looking for the most delicious food, this is probably not the place you're looking for. But for a nice meal with amazing service in Central Park, stop by.

Excellent ambiance, service, food, and drinks! The biscuits and gravy did not disappoint! Tasty. My clementine spritz was also really good. Our server (I think it was Keshawna, I tried to remember but I apologize if the spelling is off)) was awesome and I appreciated her! Definitely a must go to when you are in Central Park. We had made reservations and went around brunch time.

Made reservations here for my daughters birthday, 6:30pm. This place is in Central Park. This establishment is fine dining. Sat outside. Bring your sweaters because it may get a little cool. Greeted and Ordered our beverages and entrees. The wait was not too long to get our drinks and meals. Food was delicous and the ambiance was just right! Our waiter (had a Unique Hairstyle) did a great job. At the end of our meals, gave a birthday dessert to my daughter, which I appreciated. This place is cozy and romantic. The only thing that was missing are heaters. Overall I would come back because we all had a great experience. Keep in mind, if you are eating late.. I would not recommend going through central park. We finished our meals close to 10pmsh. Felt like there was nobody walking in the park by that time. Did not feel safe. The only go to place I really recommend to get that central park experience. :)

Not your father's Tavern on the Green! Beautiful location and spectacularly redone in recent years. The food, service and drinks are excellent. My strip steak was on a par with the best steakhouses. Easy walk from Lincoln Center.

Growing up in NYC, I've passed Tavern on the Green many times, but never had the chance to dine there. This past Saturday, I finally had the opportunity. My wife and I met my daughter for a great brunch. It was a beautiful summer morning and the setting was perfect for eating outside. Starting off with a Bloody Mary and the pastry basket was a good way to go. Our entrees ranged from the Baked Vegetable Frittata to the Grilled Organic Chicken Paillard. My wife and I both loved the frittata which came with potatoes and an arugula salad. Even though the food was excellent, eating here is as much about the experience. On a beautiful Saturday morning in Central Park, Tavern on the Green was spectacular!
